Needle Focus™ — Define the Needle (Leadership Kickoff)

Decide the Focus Goal, Outcome KRs and the first decisive question. Set up your 20-minute weekly and a single, shared dashboard.

Management Workshop

Purpose

Align leadership on one Focus Goal (company Objective) and 1–3 Outcome KRs. For each priority team, choose the route:

  • Behavior Support — when the internal habit/flow is known and within your control.

  • Outcome Experiment — when the behavior is external/unknown; learn fast before you lock a lever.

You leave knowing what matters now, who owns the next move, and how we’ll review progress every week.

What you’ll decide (and set up)

  • Company Objective + Outcome KRs (with guardrails)
    Plain-English, leadership-grade; no vanity metrics.

  • First Question (per priority team) + Acceptance Criteria
A 1-sentence question and Go / Hold / Kill ranges so decisions don’t drift.

  • Needle Weekly 20™ setup
The 20-minute check-in you can run any weekday: agenda, owner, time.

  • Draft Needle Dashboard™ (Sheets/Notion)
One page that shows the few measures that matter and a visible decision log.

Who: CEO / CTO / CPTO / VP Eng & Product (+ the people who own execution)

Next step: Needle Launch™ — Make the first move.

Formats & investment

On-site (½ day) — best for 6–12 leaders. €5,000 (+ travel)
Remote Essentials (3 hours) — focused triage for smaller groups. €3,900

Credits toward Needle Launch™ when booked within 14–30 days.

How the session runs

A tight leadership workshop: confirm the Focus Goal and Outcome KRs, pick the route per team (Behavior Support or Outcome Experiment), agree the First Question + Acceptance Criteria, and lock the Needle Weekly 20™ (agenda/owner/time). We finish by creating your draft dashboard and a crisp handoff to Needle Launch™.

After the Needle Focus

Most clients continue with Needle Launch™ to run the weekly review twice, make one lever visible, and reach a clear decision gate—Evidence or Elimination™—without a long embed. If basics aren’t ready (data, flow, decision rights), we’ll recommend a short Move-Ready Foundations™ step first.

Practicalities

  • People: leadership + key operators (small, decision-capable).

  • Pre-work: latest strategy slide/notes + a KPI screenshot; optional micro-interviews (on-site only).

  • Delivery: remote or on-site (Benelux). Fixed scope, fixed fee.

  • Boundaries: planned sessions only • no internal email/Slack • recording allowed.

FAQs

Will you write the plan with us?
You’ll leave with a draft objective, candidate measures, and the weekly review outline. If it’s premature to lock anything, your readiness decision spells out what to fix first and who owns it.

We tried something like this already—does it still help?
Yes. We’ll surface why momentum stalled (focus, cadence, visibility, ownership) and choose a smarter re-entry.

How long is the weekly review?
Twenty minutes. Same time each week. One dashboard. One decision.
